Privacy Policy

Information you share with us

This website has no accounts and does not store what you type in its forms. When you use the offer form or the contact button, your browser prepares a message that opens in WhatsApp, your text messaging app or your email app. Nothing reaches us until you press send in that app.

That message, or a call you make to us, can include:

• Your name and phone number.
• Your ZIP code or the vehicle's location.
• The vehicle's year, make, model and condition.
• Anything else you decide to write or attach, such as photos.

If you call us, we receive your phone number like any phone call.

How we use it

• To answer your inquiry and talk with you about an offer.
• To coordinate the inspection, pickup and paperwork of a sale you agree to.
• To keep the records that the law requires for vehicle purchases.

We do not use your information for advertising.

Text messages and calls

We only reply to conversations that you start. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not add your number to any list.

Your carrier's message and data rates may apply when you text us. If you want us to stop contacting you, just tell us (for example, reply STOP) and we will.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it when needed:

• With the service you choose to contact us (WhatsApp, your phone carrier or your email provider), which handles your message under its own privacy policy.
• With people who help us complete a purchase you agreed to, such as a tow operator who needs the pickup address.
• When the law requires it, for example vehicle transfer records or a valid request from authorities.

Cookies and site statistics

We use one cookie, "gl_lang", which remembers whether you chose English or Spanish. It lasts one year and is not used to track you.

To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you. Like any website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to accept. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

How long we keep it

We keep conversations and sale records only as long as we need them to answer you, complete a purchase and meet our legal and tax obligations. Your messages also stay in your own WhatsApp, text or email app, where you can delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to glwebuyjunkcarshtx@gmail.com or calling (281) 924-6096. We will answer within 45 days. We may keep what the law requires us to keep for a completed sale, and we will never treat you differently for asking.

Security

The site is served only over a secure connection (HTTPS) and we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our service is for adults who can legally sell a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
